2008 Wicked Paddlers Club Fee Schedule

Members must be 14 years of age and complete all necessary forms and waivers to participate.

All race and paddling fees are due in full by the deadlines listed below.

Scholarships and payment plans may be available, please contact the WPC board for more information.Fees are subject to change.

Race Fees

2008 Rose Festival Race: due 10/23/2007 $105

2008 Salem, Ore., World Beat: due 4/15/08 $30

2008 Kent, WA Cornucopia Days: due 6/15/08 $25

2008 Portland Waterfront Race Fees: due 07/01/08 $45

2008 Victoria, BC: due 3/15/08 $65

Paddling Fees

Paddling fees are based on boat availability, weather, and number of participants. Fees must be paid in advance.

Winter (Jan 1st – March 30th)$29
Spring (April 1st – June 30th)$25
Summer (July 1st - Sept 30th)$40
Fall (Oct 1st – Nov 30th)$19
Full Year (10% discount)$85
Per practice (maximum 3 times)$2

Other Fees
Team Shirt (required for races)$25
Paddle Clinic $45

All checks must be made out to WICKED PADDLERS CLUB or WPC. We cannot accept checks made out to any team member. Cash is also accepted and must be placed in a sealed envelope with the name of the person paying, the amount, the date and the purpose for the cash. Payment envelopes are available from the team treasurer.

DragonSports USA

DragonSports USA is the organization that owns and maintains the 6-16 boats used for practice and races before and after the Rose Festival season.

Although membership in DSUSA is not required to be a member of WPC, it is mandatory if you plan to paddle at times other than Rose Festival.

Members must complete a DragonSports membership form and pay a one time fee to them of $30. DO NOT PAY THIS TO WPC! All members must complete a DSUSA waiver annually.

If you pay paddling fees (other than during Rose Festival) to WPC, your DSUSA boat rental is paid for by the team. If you choose to attend DSUSA open practices (such as Morning Madness), you must pay paddling fees directly to DSUSA.
